Jacket Sports Update: Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team for winning their 3rd round playoff game at Hertford County on Saturday night. The Lady Yellow Jackets now advance to the Regional Semifinals (Elite 8 in the State). Our last girls basketball team to advance this far was in 1998. They will now travel to Farmville Central on Tuesday March 1 for their next game. Game time will be 6pm and admission will be $9 as Farmville Central will also host a boys game following the girls. Tickets will be sold at the gate and masks are optional at Farmville Central. #jacketproud

February marks Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Thanks to Kaynetta Robinson from Hannah’s Place in Roanoke Rapids for coming today to RRHS. Students learned about the "red flags" to look for in relationships. They also placed red flags around campus as a way of raising awareness. #TogetherWeSucceed

Congratulations! Four Jacket wrestlers will advance to the NCHSAA 2A State Wrestling Championship Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Wallace Bowser became only the third wrestler in school history to become Regional Champion. Bradley Moseley placed third, Logan Hall placed third and Gabriel Roberts placed third. Camden Gray won one match and lost twice in tough competition. Way to go Jackets! #jacketproud
