Here are some RRHS Athletics updates.
1. The Girls Soccer game at HOME vs. Northern Nash scheduled for today has been postponed.
2. The Boys Tennis match at HOME vs. JF Webb scheduled for today has been moved to tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm.
3. The Girls Soccer match at HOME vs. Bunn (rained out on 3/17) has been rescheduled for Friday April 8 at 6pm.
4. The Girls Soccer match at HOME vs. Franklinton (rained out on 3/24) has been rescheduled for Friday April 29 at 6pm.

Due to the threat of inclement weather on Thursday Roanoke Rapids High School has made some changes to the RRHS Athletics schedule for this week. Here are the changes so far:
1. The Varsity Softball game at HOME vs. Franklinton has been moved from Thursday 3/31 to Wednesday 3/30 at 6pm.
2. The Varsity Baseball game at HOME vs. Nash Central has been moved from Thursday 3/31 to Wednesday 3/30 at 6:30pm (There will not be a JV game now). This will still be Blue Out Night.

RRHS received a $500 donation today for our math and science programs from New Dixie Oil. The money is from the Exxon Mobile Education Alliance Program. Thanks for supporting our school!

Jacket Sports Update: Here are some updates from today's postponements.
1. Varsity Softball at HOME vs. Bunn is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday 3/25) at 7pm.
2. Varsity Baseball is now at HOME vs. Louisburg tomorrow (Friday 3/25) at 7pm.
3. Boys Tennis is at HOME vs. Northern Nash on Monday 3/28 at 3:30pm.

The Honors Law & Justice I class is studying traffic investigations this week. Today, students were exposed to the effects of alcohol impairment using Fatal Vision Goggles simulating various blood alcohol concentration levels. #CTE #TogetherWeSucceed




Due to rain, the following games have been postponed for today 3/24/22.

The RRHS SkillsUSA chapter travelled to Fayetteville for the Southeast Regional Rally today where 25 of our students competed in various career readiness and real world job skill contests against other students from eastern and southern North Carolina. Our students competed in: Crime Scene Investigation, EMT, Job Interview, Community Emergency Response Team, Prepared Speech, Extemporaneous Speech, First Aid/CPR, Construction Tool Identification, and Customer Service.
RRHS came away with three 5th place, three 4th place, four 3rd place, two 2nd place, and seven 1st place medals. RRHS SkillsUSA students will travel to Greensboro in April to compete at the state level. Congratulations to all students who participated! #JacketProud #TogetherWeSucceed
