RRGSD middle and high school students will continue to learn virtually following a vote Tuesday night by the Board of Trustees. On a 6 to 2 vote the Board did not approve the Superintendent’s recommendation to allow 6-12 grade students to return to in-person instruction under the current Plan B state mandates.
“We listened to our parents and students and developed what we felt was a feasible recommendation. We will stay in Plan C in middle, high school, and at the Early College for right now with hopes that the state will lift some of the restrictions we are currently under for those grades. As always my staff will adhere to the decisions decided on by the Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Dain Butler, Superintendent.
Grades Pre-K through 5th were allowed to return to in-person instruction earlier this month.
