Welcome back for the 2008-2009 school year! It is an exciting time to be a student at Roanoke Rapids High School. We are in the first year of implementing our Block Schedule as well as the 8th – 9th Grade Transition Academy for incoming freshmen. It is our hope that students will find the conversion to block scheduling allows for greater opportunities to explore classes they were unable to pursue on the previous traditional 6 period day. The new Transition Academy will be effective in assisting 9th grade students and their parents with the transition from Middle School to High School. Our faculty and staff are committed to continued improvement of our school and the students it serves. We are a school built proudly on traditions but focused on the future.  Thanks for visiting.
